Overview

Our ‘Research Methods Essentials’ course provides delegates with the theory and practice of research methods ensuring delegates leave with both a broader understanding and the practical tools needed to undertake organisational or social research. We begin by examining the broad concepts of philosophical assumptions informing research methodology, narrowing this down throughout the day providing delegates with practical tools and methods to enable them to confidently undertake research in their chosen field. This training course benefits delegates and their organisation by providing the tools and knowledge to undertake service and social research in highly effective ways.

Includes: What is Research?; A Bit of Philosophy; Methodology; Undertaking Research; Research Design; Research Ethics; Quantitative Analysis; Qualitative Analysis; Conveying Results in an Actionable Way. The day is supported with numerous practical exercises including quizzes and scenarios.

Course times: 9.30am arrivals, 4.00pm finish.
